The beverage giant "Tea Magic" has officially opened in Japan! Authentic Taiwanese hand-shaken flavors are now available in the Shibuya area!
Before the pandemic, I had already heard that Tea Magic was planning to open in Japan, but it wasn't until this year that they finally launched, sparking a lot of buzz on social media!
Unlike the more local and casual vibe of the stores in Taiwan, the Shibuya branch is super trendy, featuring beautiful seating reminiscent of Korean cafes!
They use high-quality Taiwanese tea, and the menu is designed very exquisitely, introducing the origins and flavor stories of the teas! There are also Taiwanese staff, so you can speak Chinese here with ease.👌🏻
I tried the roasted oolong milk tea with pearl sago, and it tasted exactly like Taiwan! 🧋 It's quite rare to find fresh milk tea in hand-shaken drink shops in Japan. Although the price is on the higher side, it’s still worth it!
The location is a bit of a walk from the station and situated at the top of a slope, so if you’re not specifically looking for it, you might miss it. However, if you want to experience a different style of Tea Magic, I still recommend supporting this Taiwanese brand!
