Located in Datong District, this bento store requires you to arrive early if you want to buy dinner, as everyone tends to come early, and the dish options run out quite quickly.
The environment in the store is very clean; I have rarely seen such a clean bento shop. You can eat inside, but most people choose to take it out.
For a typical bento, you can choose three different dishes, each with a corresponding number that you simply tell the owner. If you get a rice with dishes option, you can select four dishes.
This time, I bought the fried pork chop bento for $100, choosing three dishes. Each dish comes in a generous portion, and the owner will ask if you want to add gravy to the rice, which is free. The fried pork chop is crispy and crunchy.
If I have time, I always consider buying bento from this store.
