The Hello Brunch Zhongli Zhongyuan store is located right at the entrance of Chung Yuan Christian University, essentially right next to the university.
I came to Zhongli today for some business, so I decided to have a meal here.
Today, I enjoyed the KFC Chicken Leg Fried Rice, priced at 125 NTD.
KFC Chicken Leg Fried Rice:
The price of 125 NTD is for the set meal, which includes an extra cup of red tea, making it feel more worthwhile. The fried rice itself is quite fluffy, and you can choose the level of spiciness. I opted for medium spice, which was adjusted with garlic chili. The aroma of garlic makes the fried rice even more enticing.
However, a subtle point is that the crusty texture of this fried rice is quite distinct. Personally, I am not a fan of this texture, but those who enjoy the crusty style might love it.
As for the KFC chicken leg, there's nothing much to criticize; it’s a standard delicious option. For drinks, you can pay extra to choose from other items; the red tea has a sweet, old-fashioned taste.
Overall, it’s a fairly standard brunch spot, and the restaurant uses QR code ordering. Because it’s so close to the school, there are almost always students coming and going at all times. However, the service speed is not slow, which is commendable. You have to clean up after yourself when you’re done eating, but that's not really a big issue.
I recommend it to everyone.
