A store that just opened at the end of last year, initially it was hard to find even with Google, but after many visits, sometimes the business is quite good, and it always emits a very fragrant hot pot aroma, so I decided to give it a try this time.
▪️US Prime Wagyu Beef (7 oz) $409
▪️Domestic Premium Sliced Matsusaka Pork (7 oz) $279
▪️Classic Fragrant Stone Pot $100
▫️Yellow Plate 7 plates x $30
▫️Blue Plate 2 plates x $80
▫️Orange Plate 4 plates x $60
▫️Green Plate 5 plates x $50
▫️Red Plate 3 plates x $100
▫️Vegetable Plate 3 plates x $30
Similar to many stone pot hot pot styles, you first choose the ingredients to stir-fry, then go to the freezer to pick the ingredients you like. Some better cuts of meat are ordered separately. The selection in the freezer is considered normal; additionally, there's hot tea, white rice, and simple sweet soup fruits available for self-service.
I found the broth didn't taste as fragrant as it smelled; the flavor was quite mild overall. Some of the better cuts of meat are quite expensive when ordered separately, and the portions weren't very large (though they were cut into larger pieces), and nothing tasted particularly impressive.
Overall, the dining experience was a bit average; it really was more about the fragrance than the flavor. The seating was also not very comfortable as I expected. Compared to hot pots I've had recently... I won't consider a return visit for now.
