I arranged to meet a friend, who I hadn't dined with in a long time, at Eslite Spectrum Taichung. The weather that day was slightly cool. Coincidentally, neither of us had tried Daxin before, so we spontaneously decided to give it a try. I'm quite lazy and tend to order whatever the restaurant recommends, so I chose the hot and sour seafood noodle soup. My friend went for the safer option and ordered the Pad Kra Pao with pork. Speaking of the hot and sour seafood noodles, it did have the flavor of lemongrass, but I personally felt that the sour and spicy taste was somewhat lacking and could be more intense.
After the meal, there was complimentary ice cream. This time the flavor was Black Volcano (black sesame). The sesame flavor was rich and fragrant without being overwhelming, which was a nice addition.
