Originally wanted to order a set meal for two, but felt like there weren't many specific items I particularly wanted to eat, so I later chose to order à la carte. Although the set meal is indeed cheaper, if the options don’t include things I really like, then it’s not worth it.
I almost always order lemon fish and minced pork with basil whenever I have Thai food, and this time was no exception. I also ordered sautéed vegetables and satay.
The lemon fish was perfectly tangy and appetizing, and they even helped to remove the fish bones. No wonder this restaurant has been selected by Michelin; they really pay attention to detail.
As for the sautéed vegetables, it’s unfortunate that this Thai restaurant doesn’t offer shrimp paste, as I personally don’t really like the taste of shrimp paste. The stir-fried vegetables were quite plain without it, but there’s no option for shrimp paste here.
The satay was larger than I expected and had great portion value, but unfortunately, the meat was a bit tough.
