🚩Geographic Location🧭
Located near the intersection of Gaogong Road and Meicun South Road in the South District of Taichung City, close to the triangular window position.
🪑About the Overall Atmosphere🎡
The shop features an open design with two stalls, one for boiled corn and the other for grilled corn. There are no indoor seating options; cars cannot park at the entrance, but motorcycles have no issues.
💰About the Pricing💰
Boiled corn costs between $20-35, and this time I ordered a large grilled corn, original flavor with a little spice for $80.
🍴About the Food☕
The sauce smeared on the corn is thick. With every bite, you get a generous amount of sauce, and it has a mildly spicy flavor (it’s really spicy). This is definitely not the method some shops use, where they smear boiled corn with sauce and grill it for a bit. The photo shows two corn pieces cut in half, so they appear small; in reality, they are double the size of what’s in the photo.
🤨Conclusion♥
The area around Gaogong Road and Meicun South Road is filled with delicious food options, and having traditional grilled corn is indeed quite nice. The staff are very friendly, and I would visit again if I pass by. The grilled corn is made to order, so it's advisable to call ahead to avoid waiting for a long time on-site.
