Finally brought my wife to this famous HUN mixed shop in Taichung! Both of us are pasta enthusiasts, and we specifically chose to dine on a weekday to fully enjoy our time together.

First, about the environment: the decor of the Hun series really has a high quality feel, combining a vintage industrial style with a warm touch. The space is spacious and bright, not crowded at all, and every corner is quite photogenic. The atmosphere is very suitable for couple dates or friend gatherings.

As for the food, we ordered the orange sauce American-style chicken thigh pasta and the Vichy tomato red sauce American-style chicken thigh. The orange sauce has a creamy flavor mixed with fruity sweetness, rich but not greasy, really unique; the Vichy tomato red sauce has just the right acidity, very appetizing. The chicken thigh meat is also tender, and we both gave it high marks. I would give five stars just for this sauce.

However! We consider ourselves 'big eaters,' and even though we heard that the portions here are generous, we both felt only half full after finishing the whole plate... (Maybe the sauce was too delicious and appetizing? Or do we have really large appetites?). I recommend that if you're like us and have a big appetite, you might want to consider adding extra noodles or ordering a few more dishes.

This time, the garlic and creamy flavored shaking French fries we ordered were a bit disappointing. I was expecting a strong garlic and creamy flavor, but when we actually ate them, the coating wasn't very even, and the taste felt a bit separated. The fries themselves didn't have a very crispy texture, which felt like a letdown compared to the amazing main dishes. Next time, we should probably skip the fries and focus on the pasta.

Overall, the flavor of the pasta and the comfortable dining environment make this a restaurant worth revisiting.
