What we ate today was "うなぎ四代目久かわ", which is a Japanese store in Taiwan. It is a long-established eel restaurant in Nagoya with over 90 years of history and has been recommended by Michelin Plate in Japan. It specializes in three-eel set meals, and there are many Specialty fried dishes such as Kabayaki tempura and eel kabuto are available. As long as you order eel rice, rice, side dishes, pickles, soup and three side dishes are all unlimited.
This time I had the famous Kabayaki Ipponju. It is worth mentioning that if you order the Ipponju, you will get an additional bowl of eel liver clear soup, as well as eel kabuto karaage, eel tamagoyaki and kabayaki tempura. Luo, it can be said that it completely lived up to my expectations. The three side dishes that came first have their own characteristics. The fried food is crispy and crispy. The tamagoyaki is also delicious. The sweetness of the eel blends perfectly with the egg. .
Next is the highlight of the eel rice. I fell in love with it immediately after taking one bite. There is no fishy smell of eel at all (it still has an earthy taste. I don’t quite understand it, but I have never eaten eel rice in Taiwan that doesn’t have a fishy/earthy taste), and The taste is also completely different from other eel rice. The outside is crispy, but the eel inside is very tender. It really lives up to the reputation of this 90-year-old restaurant. And when it comes to the three-course meal, this part alone is different from other restaurants. There is not a big gap, but with the meat quality and cooking method of his eel, it is beyond the reach of other opponents. The only drawback is that the crispy skin of the eel will be softened by the fried rice, but the meat quality is better. Over everything.
In summary, this can be said to be the best eel rice I have ever eaten in Taiwan. There is no one yet. It is definitely a restaurant that I will put on my list of places to go when I want to eat a little better that day.
