In the bustling twin cities of Taipei and New Taipei, Lao Dong Beef Noodle is mostly located in popular food streets. How does it perform?
I ordered the tomato half tendon, half meat noodles, and my first impression was that the bowl was quite large. The amount of meat (4 pieces of beef, 2 pieces of tendon) was not overwhelming, but it was tender and performed well. The tomato broth had a slight acidity and sweetness, reaching a drinkable standard.
The price of beef noodles in Taipei and New Taipei has long surpassed 200 NT dollars, and considering that dishes in food streets tend to be pricier, Lao Dong Beef Noodle is a good choice if you're looking to grab some beef noodles on a whim without making a bad decision.
At the food street of the Global Shopping Center in Nangang, when returning trays, you need to take them to the respective recycling windows of each restaurant, which is somewhat inconvenient.
