It was lunch time when I took the train back to Kaohsiung. I strolled around the food court in the Xinzuoying Taiwan Railway Hall and found that Osaka King General was located there. It had a wide variety of items. It looked like it was newly opened and I quickly gave it a try.
Ordered today:
Wang Jiang Seafood Fried Noodles (165 yuan)
The yellow noodles are chewy and lightly seasoned, with a lot of vegetables and pork, and the seafood part is shrimp and squid.
Five-eye fried rice (130 yuan)
The contents include onions, barbecued pork and eggs. It can only be said that the frying skills of the Japanese chefs are not inferior to those of the Chinese chefs. The grains are also clearly defined. Plus, it is Koshihikari rice, which adds a delicious aroma to the rice!
Grilled dumplings (79 yuan)
The store’s signature dish, but as I don’t usually eat fried dumplings, I don’t think it’s particularly amazing and the seasoning is too heavy.
Overall, the price is affordable (no service charge), and the quality of the food is average, but the serving speed is slow, so it is not suitable for people who are in a hurry.
