🪑 This is a local goose meat old shop in Muzha, and I’ve been eating here for over 20 years since I was a child. The sign at the entrance says "Exclusive Flavor, No Other Branches," but many people complain about the lack of prices, finding out the bill only at checkout 💸 However, I’m already used to their way (?). Once you know how to order, it's all good –

🍖 Sliced Goose Meat The slices this time are just right, with moderate thickness; the skin isn’t too fatty, the meat is tender and juicy, completely odorless, and paired with shredded ginger for a refreshing touch. It goes perfectly with a hot serving of goose fat rice, though this time the rice was a bit on the wet and soft side, which is a bit of a shame 🥲

🌶️ Spicy Goose Blood + Tofu The broth is infused with Sichuan pepper, spicy just right. The goose blood is very tender and has a smooth sheen, while the tofu has a bit of a porous texture, fully absorbing the braising sauce - a perfect match with white rice!

🥢 Goose Offal with Bean Sprouts This is my personal recommendation to definitely order; it’s even better with extra spice. The goose gizzards and hearts are cleaned thoroughly with no unpleasant smell, the bean sprouts are crispy, and the aroma is evident - this dish is truly the soul of the meal 🌱

🥣 Bamboo Shoots They have a subtle bamboo fragrance and a hint of oil, retaining their crunchiness.

🔚 Overall, it’s still the old saying: familiar paths lead to happy meals 😌 The quality of the goose meat has always been good, but the rice and prices can fluctuate, so you’ll need to consider that yourself. Remember to come early on weekends for the butterfly flower dish, or else it’ll be sold out!
