The restaurant "Kai Don" is located in the food court on the basement floor of the Taipei 101 shopping center. I think Taipei 101 doesn't need much introduction, right?

Today I took out a salmon roe scallop don and a sunrise green onion eel barbecue don, totaling 790 NTD.

Salmon Roe Scallop Don:
The takeout salmon roe scallop sauce comes in a separate small bowl, and it looks great when placed on the white rice. The scallops are fresh and the portion is quite large, and the salty freshness of the orange salmon roe is pretty good. However, the rice is just rice and depends solely on the sauce to bring it to life. In my personal opinion, this dish is priced at 490 NTD, and I think a large portion of that goes to the rent for the restaurant.

Sunrise Green Onion Eel Barbecue Don:
The pork has a decent fat content, and the charred aroma after grilling is quite delicious. The eel is made of small trimmings rather than a whole piece, which gives a somewhat empty feeling. The eggs are from Dawu Mountain, and the place of origin is printed on the eggshell, which is quite charming. After soaking up the meat juices and raw egg yolk, the rice has a smoother texture. The side dishes are quite ordinary.

The accompanying miso soup is just ordinary miso soup, and it seems there's not much more to say about it.

Overall, this is a Japanese set meal restaurant that likely has high rent. The prices are clearly on the high side, and the cost-performance ratio is quite awkward. However, the taste of the dishes is still not bad, so I can't rate it below three stars.
