🌟 It is recommended to draw numbers for the APP in advance to queue up!!
🌟 No sharing pot fee for those under 120 cm, and for those over, it’s just 59 NT dollars per person, and you can order individually to offset the sharing pot fee.
Shiyi Pot is an affordable hot pot restaurant, and the winter melon lemon drink is my all-time favorite!!
Introduction
"Shiyi Pot," under the Wang Pin Group, is an affordable hot pot place featuring classic Taiwanese stone pot, shabu-shabu, and spicy pepper soup base, paired with various main course meats and individual hot pot ingredients. The price for Shiyi Pot's set meals is kept under 300 NT dollars, and diners can enjoy unlimited winter melon lemon slushy and black bean tea in the self-service area.
It's located inside the Rende Targus store, super convenient for parking on rainy days, bright space but a bit crowded. The seasoning area at the Rende location can get quite congested with people, but the air conditioning is cool.
Let's Eat
Stone Pot Pork Fish Feast 💰 278
You can choose between a meat platter or a veggie platter (both are great).
Before the dishes arrive, you can grab some black bean tea or winter melon lemon.
The stone pot broth, after sautéing, is poured with stock, fragrant and sweet. The vegetables are quite fresh, but I found the snapper a bit fishy, which I personally don’t like!!
Mushroom Balls 💰 40
Thoughts: Shiyi Pot has maintained its quality over the years; I always choose it when I don't know what hot pot to eat.
If you value meal quality: The quality remains, and the stone pot is sweet.
If you value the environment: The space is not too big but a bit crowded (in the aisles).
If you value parking: There’s a parking lot for motorcycles and cars.
If you value restrooms: Targus also has restrooms.
If you value queuing: You need to queue, but you can use the APP to draw numbers first.
If you value service: It's average.
If you value cost-effectiveness: 🌟🌟🌟🌟
