On this trip to Japan, I did a lot of research on sashimi and really wanted to try some conveyor belt sushi. I heard this place has good quality and reasonable prices. Knowing there would be a long wait later, I specifically chose to visit shortly after they opened, arriving around 11:20 and waited almost 40-50 minutes to be seated.
That day, I ordered: salmon/salmon belly 👍/flounder/red snapper/sweet shrimp 👍/double scallop 👍/botan shrimp/crab salad gunkan/chawanmushi/matsuba crab/draft beer. Besides the recommended items, the others were pretty standard.
The pricing is based on the color of the plates, with prices of ¥165/268/396/528, and there is also a special menu where you can order by drawing, which I found surprisingly traditional. The menu is very dense, so you have to read carefully, and the chefs are in the center. The conveyor belt has two layers, with food on the upper layer and cups available for self-service on the lower layer. If they sold cups, I would buy one (the design is really cute and nice!!).
Overall, I felt that it was not too impressive. I had a very filling breakfast that day, so I didn't eat a lot (?). But overall, the quality was standard, and the atmosphere was quite nice. Not having to wait in line was good, but if I had to wait a long time, I think there are more comparable options.
