Location: Xindian District, New Taipei City
The hot pot scene has always been highly competitive.
In Xindian District, there are numerous hot pot restaurants on every major road.
This particular one has always been quite popular, and I've heard the soup base is delicious.

🌟 Sea Urchin and Fish Roe Chicken White Soup Base
They let you sample the new soup base before ordering, which I think is a great way to recommend soup options.
I initially had something else in mind, but after tasting it, I decided to order this one.
The chicken broth serves as a base, and the sea urchin enhances the sweetness of the seafood.
The overall flavor is very delicious.
Adding fish roe gives it a delightful popping texture.
In general, it's quite tasty, though the chicken pieces can be a little dry.
I think the chicken is just okay.

🌟 Beef and Vegetables & Rice
For the meat slices, I chose a more affordable option.
It's unsurprisingly quite fatty, but still palatable.
It’s not bad – just okay really.
As for the rice, I upgraded to the new Thai-style rice.
The flavor is somewhat ordinary, and I feel I should have just gone with the regular rice instead. 😂

Since I made a reservation, there was no waiting involved.
The self-serve bar offers drinks, ice cream, and a sauce station.
The ice cream has a decent texture, and the milk flavor is quite rich.
I would recommend it.

Overall, it was still pretty good.
If reservations are easy to make, I could definitely go back for more!
