I had a short stopover in Tokyo and wanted to try some yakiniku that I had never tried before, so I chose Ushigoro. This brand is divided into general and s. The general ones are yakiniku set meals, and s is more like creative dishes without menus.
The food I ate this time was average. The Shinjuku Sanchome store seems to be unknown on Google Maps and Instagram 😂
The set meals at each branch seem to be slightly different. This time I had a set meal for 12,000 yen per person (the most expensive at this branch)
Overall, it's pretty good. If you can get a reservation, I still recommend yoroniku. The price is a bit different, but the yoroniku experience is really great. Ushigoro also has A5 Wagyu beef that's great in oil and butter, but there happen to be a few dishes in the set menu that are less than satisfactory, such as : Meat dipped in yuzu vinegar sauce, fried beef sandwich.
If I want to eat more authentic roast pork, I will probably order a la carte if I visit again!
