有饃有樣肉夾饃-花蓮店
The meat sandwich specialty store is located across from Mingyi Elementary School in a small orange-decorated shop. I had a meat sandwich once in Taipei and found it quite special. I didn't expect there to be one in Hualien as well.
Today, I ordered the signature meat sandwich with a mix of fatty and lean pork. The outer layer is very flavorful, like a croissant with its flaky layers, and the mix of pork makes you want to eat another one after finishing.
The braised chicken rice set has a lot of ingredients inside, including chicken, tofu skin, enoki mushrooms, and shiitake mushrooms. The chicken is very flavorful and tender, not dry at all.
The lamb soup with vermicelli is something I quite enjoy. The soup is fragrant and sweet with a rich lamb flavor, without any gamey taste. The radish is also soft and melts in your mouth.
I personally think the meat sandwich in Hualien is really good. It’s worth savoring again...
