"Samurai Gomar Revolving Sushi" is located on University Road in Douliou, Yunlin. My family tried it once and thought it was quite good, and they recommended that we go back together. The interior decoration is quite impressive. Before entering the restaurant, you already get a sense of grandeur from the entrance. The ceiling is specially high, with decorations of fish hanging down, which adds a lot of fun and quality to the dining environment. The atmosphere feels like a fusion of Japanese and modern styles, which is truly beautiful compared to the monotonous decor of typical revolving sushi places.
As for the quality of the ingredients, the color and texture of the tuna are quite good. The meat is fresh and tender, and it certainly doesn't disappoint. The flavor of the crab roe is also fantastic—rich and layered, it doesn't feel overly greasy. Moreover, crab roe can easily turn stale at sushi restaurants, but here it is just fine. Adding sea urchin, which can often be hit or miss at sushi places, its quality here is surprisingly good, with a rich sea flavor that is very satisfying.
Overall, the prices and quality here are well-matched. Although it’s not the cheapest sushi restaurant, the level of quality it provides feels worth a try.
