Located on Green Island, "Maunmaun" is a brunch restaurant hidden deep in the woods. It's a bit hard to find as it's not on the main road; you have to leave the asphalt path and ride into a sandy trail. The restaurant has a strong island vibe in its decor, making it especially suitable for taking photos. However, without air conditioning, the interior can feel a bit stuffy on hot days, and the fans cannot keep up with the heat of the island.
The menu has a limited selection, but each dish is quite unique. First is the Vietnamese chicken thigh cold noodle, which is very refreshing. The noodles are cool and appetizing, especially on a hot day, and paired with a refreshing sweet and sour sauce. The chicken thigh has a crispy exterior and juicy interior, providing a very satisfying experience. Next is the seafood salad shrimp burger, which features a special sauce combined with a croissant burger. The shrimp is tender and served with handmade tortillas, offering a rich texture, and the fries are perfectly fried, making the overall meal very delicious.
In summary, although the environment may feel a bit stuffy, the quality of the food is excellent and the dining atmosphere is nice. I still recommend it!
