Ice cream from Japan, this is the second time I’m eating from this place. When I first came to Taiwan, there was only one store, but now it’s sold in many department stores/metro stations. The specialty cone is made with Shiroi Koibito cookies, and I saw that there's a 40% discount for LINE members, so I thought I’d give it a try.
Each cone is $150.
▪️Strawberry & raspberry cone
The strawberry is from Fukuoka Prefecture, and the cookie is paired with raspberries. I’m not particularly fond of strawberries, but I thought I’d try it since it’s that season. It’s quite smooth, with a light strawberry flavor, no chemical taste, and it pairs well with the cookie.
▪️Cremia (original flavor) & original cone
I really liked the original flavor from the first time I tried it. It's creamy soft serve, with a heavy cream topping and very melt-in-your-mouth ice cream, which I personally love.
Overall, aside from the price, I really like this ice cream. I already liked the taste of that cookie. However, I thought the chocolate was just okay when I first tried it. So far, I’ve only tasted the original and strawberry, which were both pretty good. I think it's more suitable to buy when there's a discount; the 40% off for my birthday was great, and I also used a 20 dollar coupon, which was nice.
