This restaurant is a very well-known Hawaiian cuisine restaurant in Hawaii. If you ask the locals which one is the oldest and most famous, most of them can probably mention this restaurant's name! It's best to make a reservation during busy weekends; otherwise, you might have to wait longer ⏰.
The service here truly impressed me from the moment I walked in until I sat down! They led me to the waiting area before confirming my seat, and when I sat down, they noticed that my pants were white and specially provided me with a white napkin to place on my lap! When the dishes arrived, I found that they even helped adjust my meal for a prettier photo angle 📷!
As for the dishes:
❤️ Misoyaki Butterfish
This dish is a must-order for my friend every time we visit Hawaii! The fish🐟 is as tender as bouncy tofu.. super soft and incredibly tender! The outer layer is incredibly flavorful, giving the fish itself an impressive score of 85! With a specially made green sauce on the side, this dish reaches a score of 100! I highly recommend this dish!
❤️ Lime & Charred Negi Spanish Octopus
This dish is also an amazing octopus🐙! It comes with two large octopus legs and three meatballs of potato🥔. Paired with their special meat sauce, it elevates this dish to another level! The tenderness and freshness of the octopus were already impressive, and the meat sauce, along with the tart-sweet green apple🍏 slices and sweet onions🧅, creates layers and textures that are irresistible!
❤️ Tokyo Express
This is a cocktail based on sake🍶, with a hint of lychee flavor. Whether you usually drink or not, it's a cocktail that's very well-received!
❤️ Nirvana
This cocktail is based on tequila. It’s actually mixed very well! But if you don’t usually drink, you need to be a bit cautious… it's quite strong. If you're not used to drinking, you might find it a bit overwhelming!
Overall, I highly recommend this place! I hope everyone who visits Hawaii can come and try it out—explore other dishes or order the same ones as me to enjoy!
