When I came to Kamakura, as expected, there were many gourami dishes; gourami is very common in Taiwan, but I have never eaten raw one. Since it is very safe to eat raw food in Japan, it is natural to seize the rare opportunity.
I ordered the two-color tuna rice bowl. The trout here is larger than the ones I am usually familiar with, so it has more texture. The cooked larvae tastes very dense with a hint of umami; while the raw larvae is smooth and smooth, with a hint of sweetness.
Although other than these two main dishes, the seaweed, egg shreds, and white rice are not special, but when paired with the gourami, everything will add a delicious flavor.
In addition to providing squid, this restaurant also provides other sashimi rice bowls and other fish rice bowls. If you have friends who don’t eat raw food, you can also come in and enjoy it together.
