Located by the river, this small seafood restaurant has a dining rule: first, choose a portion of grouper meat and a flavor, then select your main dish and side dishes once inside. (You don’t have to choose soup, as the menu explains the ordering sequence.)
The meals ordered this time are as follows:
Since I was eating alone, the price felt a bit high, but it would be just right for two people sharing.
First, the large bowl of minced pork rice is genuinely big; the bowl is deep, and it feels very filling. The minced pork and rice themselves are quite standard.
As for the green beans, I think it’s inexpensive and comes in a generous portion, but it’s simply blanched with no special seasoning.
I personally found the flatfish quite tasty. Although it arrived a bit late and was a little cold, it was still good. I don't have much concept of the price for this item.
Finally, there's the grouper soup. I think the fish meat is very chewy, very fresh, and doesn’t have a fishy smell. The broth is light and sweet, and the pieces of meat are quite large, making it very filling.
It's a pity I didn't get to try their seafood porridge; I'd have to come earlier to have a chance to order it.
