Thank you Fooday🥳 for making me want to try more different cuisines 🍽
🚩 Location 🧭
Located near the intersection of Section 3 Zhongshan Road and Dacheng Road in Puli Township, Nantou County, with a nearby landmark being the Puli Distillery Exhibition Center.
🪑 Regarding the overall atmosphere 🎡
It's a very small store of JenJuDan, but I can't complain since it's in Puli City. There is space for about one car to park at the entrance, and if someone leaves, you’ll have to find your own parking space; the road isn't very wide, making illegal parking quite awkward. The storefront has some wooden decorations, which gives it a minimalist appearance.
💰 About the pricing 💰
Brown sugar pearl douhua (tofu pudding) is $65. It’s quite unique to have the douhua served in a drink cup, but I guess it's meant for you to take home and enjoy.
🍴 About the food ☕
The texture of the douhua is very Q (springy) and smooth, similar to egg douhua; it doesn’t easily crumble. The brown sugar syrup is mildly sweet and not overly sugary. The pearls from JenJuDan are the best I’ve ever tasted, and even after storing them in the fridge overnight, they don’t harden! Still, I personally hope they would serve the douhua in a bowl instead of a cup, as it would be more convenient to eat.
🤨 Conclusion ♥
Thanks to the franchise system, JenJuDan is consistently delicious no matter where you buy it, and those who love pearls shouldn’t miss out.
