I came to Neili to meet friends and found a good-looking Italian restaurant for lunch. The outside of the restaurant looked like a community-style restaurant with an approachable sign. The atmosphere inside was also simple and relaxing, where you could relax, chat and eat.

I think the food is a bit expensive, maybe because it is an Italian dish, so the unit price is higher. I was looking forward to it, but in fact, I was a little disappointed after the meal, and I felt that it was not at that price point.

Confit shrimp with bread

It felt very special when it was first delivered to the table. The shrimps seemed to have been carefully seasoned and the colors of the plates were diverse. However, in fact, it tasted a bit Taiwanese and not as similar to the Italian taste as imagined, especially the inside. With the addition of corn shoots and large pieces of cucumber, the entire taste is gone. I give it 4 points for the initial impression, but I can only give it 1.5 points for the taste. The bread part is not bad, it has the crunchy texture of sourdough bread, but the main character is really not good✋
Seafood and vegetable baked eggs

This dish is the most delicious one among all the meals. The fluffiness, softness and tenderness of the eggs are all revealed, and it also has the flavor of seafood. It tastes a bit like home, and at the same time you can taste a very rich variety of vegetables. The sweetness of the crumbs and seafood really opens up your taste buds, making it a great appetizer.

This main dish is considered to be the most expensive item among them, costing 460 yuan per serving. Logically speaking, it should be the most anticipated star of the entire dining experience, but to be honest, I was quite disappointed with it.
- The stewed rice didn't taste cooked at all. It tasted like rice, and the cuttlefish sauce was cuttlefish sauce. It didn't feel like the whole seafood soup and the onions were sucked into the rice and locked inside.
- The flowers and cucumbers garnished on the stewed rice don’t match the whole dish. It might taste better without adding these things.
Basically, the stewed rice was a bit unsatisfactory because it wasn't cooked properly... Fortunately, the scallops he picked were raw food grade and the frying was pretty good.
Yilan Duck Enjoy Shaoxing Seasonal Vegetable Pasta

I saw this dish on the menu which is very special, but it also tastes like a question mark. The whole bowl of noodles has a super strong duck taste. Of course, it is good to have duck taste, but after eating the noodles became cold, the whole taste became very heavy and greasy, so that we could not finish the whole bowl. And the corn shoots and sweet beans garnished on the side are super Taiwanese... The ingredients are selected in the same way as the confit shrimp, which makes people feel that there is a lack of variety in the cuisine, so seeing the same thing on the main meal will really be more disappointing😅

The drinks are okay, but the price is on the high side. A cup of fresh milk tea costs 100 yuan, and it’s not cheaper when paired with a main meal. The set meal costs nearly 700 yuan per person, which is not worth it for a community-style western restaurant. But it feels like the boss lady is also having a hard time. There is a doll play area in one corner of the store. It feels like it is not easy to take care of children and run a restaurant at the same time. I hope the meal can be better if we think about it again!
