I come to this place quite often because every time I want to eat until I'm satisfied, and I always add extra meat when I order the duck leg rice.
One time, the owner forgot to add the meat, and I only realized when I got home. I initially thought I would just let it go and remind the owner next time, but he directly said:
"Then I won't charge you this time!"
Super generous, he didn’t even question whether I was making it up. This level of trust really moved me 🥹
Duck Leg Rice (NT$130)
The price might be a bit on the higher side, but the portion is substantial, with two kinds of vegetables included, and the rice is heaped generously.
The smoky aroma of the duck meat is really strong; it’s that kind of smell that makes your mouth water as soon as you open the box.
The vegetables are flavorful, usually including a portion of bamboo shoots and a seasonal vegetable, which pairs perfectly with the meat.
I always add extra meat, so I’m not quite sure about the regular portion size 🤣. But the basic version should be sufficient for an average person!
🎁 A Little Surprise
If you give this place a 5-star review, you'll receive some rice blood cakes. I was initially skeptical about the good reviews on the map, thinking they might be fake, but after trying the food, I genuinely believe:
"The positive reviews for this place are absolutely based on quality!" 👍
