🚩 Location 🧭
Located near the intersection of Sida Road and Lane 369 in Wufeng District, Taichung City, a notable landmark is the North Liu Branch of the Wufeng District Farmers' Association.
🪑 About the Overall Atmosphere 🎡
This place feels quite different from what I remember of Qingshin; it seems like they have renovated their decor since I last visited a while ago. The counter is made of wood and features the typical glass door found in many contemporary beverage shops, which partially blocks the air conditioning, but it seems that this place doesn’t actually have the air conditioning on. There's space to park a car at the entrance if you’re lucky.
💰 About the Prices 💰
Fresh Milk Tea (Black Tea Latte) $60, unsweetened and iced. The staff mentioned that their fresh milk tea is enhanced with a bit of honey for flavor, but I couldn't taste it. When they asked if I wanted it, I said since I can't taste it, they might as well add it!
🍴 About the Drink ☕
This has to be one of the worst fresh milk teas I’ve ever had. The tea flavor is completely absent, and the milk taste is surprisingly faint. I indeed couldn't taste the honey, but I was left wondering what on earth I was drinking. I didn't closely observe the preparation process, but it almost tastes like water! It’s even worse than water, and I can’t believe they charge $60 for this—I can’t say anything nice about it.
🤨 Conclusion ♥
I used to enjoy the oolong tea at Qingshin, but this time I switched to Qingshin because there were too many people at the nearby 50 Lan. I didn’t expect the fresh milk tea at Qingshin to taste so bad, and I now lack confidence in their other drinks as well; I won’t be coming back again.
