Comments from a person with braces: There's a bathroom.
This time I visited Tokura Handmade Hamburger Steak in Sanjo, Kyoto. I had eaten here once during my trip last year, and it left a deep impression. I can say it is one of the best hamburger steaks I've had in my life. This restaurant is very popular, and there's always a queue during meal times; this time we waited about an hour before being seated.
The restaurant has an English menu, and you can choose the portion size of the hamburger steak freely. This time we went straight for the large portion of 300g, and we were very satisfied. We ordered the following dishes:
• Original Hamburger (300g) ¥1,260
• Cheese Hamburger (300g) ¥1,440
• Japanese-style Poached Hamburger (300g) ¥1,370
• Draft Beer ¥580
Total ¥4,650 (including consumption tax).
When the hamburger steak is cut open, juices seep out, which goes perfectly with white rice. The meat is firm and juicy, and you can feel the rich beef aroma in every bite. The draft beer pairs well with it too. Although the price is not cheap, the taste and quality are indeed worth this price point. If you're in Kyoto, this place is definitely worth a try.
