I don't want to keep it private anymore! This restaurant in Taichung, which is called a brunch place, actually sells traditional noodles and soups. They start business very early in the morning. It's a family-run business, and to my knowledge, there are three daughters-in-law involved. Recently, they also set up a coconut stand in front, which is run by another family member.
The entire environment is kept very clean (which is very important!!!), and the key point is that the prices are incredibly low, so I really think it's worth supporting them! However, I'm not sure about the store's operating hours and phone number, as I always end up visiting on Sundays when they're closed. I guess they probably take that day off.
The first time I ate there, I was genuinely impressed, but I noticed that the taste varies depending on who is cooking 😅 One star is deducted for this. However, it's not to the extent of being inedible; there is always the aroma of the meat sauce. The difference lies in whether the seasoning suits your taste and the texture of the noodles. Personally, I prefer the noodles that one of the daughters-in-law makes with soy sauce paste, as they taste richer and more aromatic.
The oily tofu, braised eggs, and blanched greens are my standard orders every time I eat there—it really gives me a boost in the morning 💪🏻 If you're in the mood for dry noodles, meat sauce rice, or fried noodles for breakfast, you can come here! 👍🏻
