Located on the first floor of Dongmen Market, this affordable sashimi donburi restaurant offers counter seating next door, as well as indoor seating with air conditioning. Otherwise, during the summer, you definitely won't want to sit down and eat at Dongmen Market. The cleanliness of the seating areas is acceptable.

There are about a dozen spots available, and it's easy for the place to get fully booked during meal times.

When you order, you get a bowl of miso soup included. You can choose between regular or grilled sashimi. Personally, I prefer the grilled version. It has more layers of flavor. The ingredients in the whole bowl are quite generous ❤️. The seafood tastes fresh, and the portion is just right for me.

Scrambled Egg Wagyu Beef Donburi $140
If you don't eat seafood, there are also beef and pork donburis to choose from. The sauce is a bit abundant, which makes it taste a little salty, but the beef is cooked just right.

If you're usually craving sashimi donburi, I still recommend Haishen 👍, but considering the dining environment, I would deduct a few points.
