The dinner location was chosen at "Han Feng Pavilion" on Zhuanqing Road in Douliu, Yunlin. This is a Korean restaurant with a good reputation in the area, with relatively high ratings. One of the main reasons is that the restaurant offers small side dishes or Korean yogurt drinks for check-ins. On that day, we ordered spicy stir-fried chicken, seafood pancake, and bibimbap.
The taste of the spicy stir-fried chicken was decent; the sweet and spicy flavors were balanced well, and the meat quality was okay, but nothing particularly impressive. As for the seafood pancake, its performance was quite ordinary; the cooking was slightly off, making it a bit soft and lacking the aromas and crispiness I expected. However, the bibimbap was quite good, with the aroma and crispiness of the rice crust meeting expectations, although it just barely passed the mark.
The restaurant has a spacious and bright environment, with a lot of options on the menu, ranging from copper plate barbecue to hotpots, and it also offers free seaweed egg drop soup and drinks. Overall, the meal was not particularly outstanding, but the prices are reasonable, leading to an average review.
