This time, I came to the Seoul Uncle at Xiao Bitan Station. I casually passed by during lunch hours when it was quite crowded. Since they have a business lunch on weekdays, I decided to stop and eat.

▲ The way this restaurant's POS machine calculates is very strange; before payment, you must calculate it yourself.
Situation: I ordered the business lunch, seafood tofu hotpot for 180 + a 10% service fee = 198 yuan. However, the owner said during checkout that it was 202. I hesitated for a moment, and the owner said there’s a 10% service fee + this is what the POS machine calculated. I showed the owner on my calculator: 180 x 1.1 = 198. The owner insisted that this is what the POS machine calculated and cannot be changed, adding that no customers have ever complained.
I initially thought to let it go, but it’s not right. Just because no customer has ever complained doesn’t mean the machine is 100% correct; it’s possible that customers just didn’t notice. I pointed it out to the owner, but the amount is simply incorrect; your POS system needs calibration. The owner said fine, I’ll still charge you 198, I’ll absorb the difference myself.
→ When dining, besides whether the food is good, the correctness of the amount is also very important.
Regardless of whether the food is tasty, it’s clear that there’s a problem with the POS machine at checkout. However, the owner relies on the fact that no customer has ever complained and tries to manipulate by saying he’ll absorb the difference.

Even with the business lunch, tea and water are provided. However, the owner might not notice; if there’s no tea or water, you can tell the owner.

Seafood tofu hotpot: $180 (plus 10%)

★ Thoughts:
Side dishes can be refilled (only kimchi can be refilled once).

The seafood tofu hotpot contains one egg, three clams, one shrimp, some onions, and enoki mushrooms.
Compared to other seafood tofu hotpots from outside, it's generally average. But during winter, eating a hot pot while it’s still boiling brings a comforting experience.

Maybe their specialty dish is pancakes or grilled meat.
But in any case, one day, after they calibrate their POS, I might consider entering this restaurant again. Who wants to have a meal and find the checkout amount is incorrect, only to be told by the owner,
"It’s what the POS machine calculated; no customer has ever complained, and I’ll absorb the difference myself"?

★ Waiting time:
If it’s busy, it may take about 20-30 minutes for a table.
After being seated, the food is freshly made, taking about 5-10 minutes.
