The food street in the department store has some good food, but the prices are also…
Food street prices.
But it is relatively cheaper among food street prices.

Later I checked, and there’s also a branch in Taichung's Lalaport,
but it seems like everyone recommends another place🤔
(I'll have to try that another day)

🍜 This time I ordered a sesame sauce noodle set,
the noodles are thick and chewy, but that's the only good part about the noodles,
the rest are all ready-made side dishes, cold,
the unlimited winter melon tea is very bland and very cold,
and with the air conditioning of the department store, it got even colder.

What’s disappointing is that the portion of the noodles is really not enough,
after finishing the entire set meal, I still felt only half full,
I can understand that department stores are a bit more expensive, but I still feel it’s not worth it.

I wonder if it’s because it’s a weekday?
It might also be that the location of this shop is just not good.
(It’s in a corner, in an awkward spot)

I sat in the corner eating and observing,
and it seemed like I was the only customer tonight,
the business isn’t really good.
I stayed from around 6 PM until about 8 PM,
with no one else placing orders,
some people stopped by, but left without ordering.

However, my thought after finishing is also: next time, don't order sesame sauce noodles🙂‍↔️

Sesame Noodles The noodles are thick and very chewy, and there's not much sesame sauce. The soft-boiled egg is almost cooked, and I won't even mention the cucumber and carrot strips. The edamame is also cold. The whole bowl feels refreshingly cool to eat.

The accompanying side dishes: kelp sprouts, burdock root strips, and black beans. There's nothing particularly stunning about the taste; they're just ordinary side dishes. Overall, I feel like they are a bit on the sweet side.

This set meal comes with a bowl of soup, and drinks are self-serve, costing $160. The soup is almost clear broth with a bit of flavor, but contains no ingredients.

Winter melon tea Very light, very watery, very cold; of course, if it's light, it's not sweet either. Unlimited supply, but in this kind of weather, I don't want a second cup.
