A new exploration of hidden culinary gems
Actually located along a route I often take to the office
The most unique dish on the menu is the radish egg soup😍
I found it very cool! My initial thought
Was that it would be similar to the sesame oil egg soup my mom used to make
But after tasting it, I found the flavors to be completely different
The broth has a sweet hint of radish
The shredded radish melts in your mouth
And the addition of celery is delightful
I just found the fried egg surprisingly lacking in presence
(I thought it would be the highlight)
Chive dumplings $70 for 10 pieces
Personally, I was a bit disappointed because I don't like meat filling
The ratio of meat to chives is about 2:1 😭
I would prefer it if there were more chives in the filling ~
Sweet potato leaves $40
The flavor of the fried onion seasoning is quite special, but I'm not used to it
The good thing is that the leaves chosen are very tender
The vegetables are also very fresh, vibrant green
In the future, I might enjoy it more without the seasoning😍
The highlight is that there are many small dishes to choose from in the store
Unlike typical snack shops which might offer simple cold cuts
Or that general braised cuisine called by the mainstream chef
It feels like the owner put a lot of effort into preparing the small dishes
I hope to come back for a visit with friends next time👍🏻
