The first time I ate here, I felt that the pasta was above average, and I also liked the overall atmosphere and service of the restaurant. I thought to myself that I would come back later to try the secret menu. (But I forgot which dish I ordered the first time 😂)
The second time, I originally wanted to try the red wine and vinegar duck leg from the secret menu & the dessert cinnamon apple rice pudding, but the duck leg was sold out and the rice pudding wasn't available that day 🥲 I hope I have the chance to taste them next time! (Hands together in prayer)
✨ Pesto smoked salmon pasta $380 + upgrade set $120 = $500
This time I specifically ordered the pasta because I was curious about what it was ~ It really does taste a bit like the gnocchi mentioned online, it's a type of pasta (?). The salmon is beautifully plated like a flower and is also very delicious, with a light and delicate texture; I found some baby corn and asparagus mixed in, which paired quite refreshing with the pasta. The pesto sauce is not overly strong, allowing the pasta and other ingredients to shine. I think this is a big plus! It doesn't feel greasy or heavy at the end.
The upgrade set allows you to choose 2 out of 4 from bread/soup/drink/dessert.
✨ Caramel smoked black tea (light sugar, less ice) + caramel pudding
🫖 I really like the smoky caramel flavor of this tea. After drinking, it leaves a lingering aftertaste that gradually transforms, finishing with a slight bitterness that adds depth to the tea.
🍮 Eating just the caramel can be a bit sweet, but not overwhelmingly so. The pudding's smooth and tender texture perfectly balances the overall experience.
❗️The above is my personal taste, please consider before trying, thank you~
