Famous Snacks in Yilan ⭐️
This is a snack shop with a very high online presence!
When I arrived just before noon, the tables were already full. Later arrivals had to queue and wait ⌛️
Today's order:
➜ Dried plum braised pork rice $35
The dried plum flavor is rich, paired with the aroma of the braised pork. It's delicious and satisfying with a generous portion 😋 Highly recommended 👍
➜ White rice $10
A fairly large bowl of white rice 😆
➜ Sliced duck meat (medium) $100
It has a small leg, feels like a small duck 🦆 So there isn't much meat on the leg, with a lot of bones. However, at this price, it's acceptable 😌
➜ Braised cabbage $40
A plate that's enough for 2-3 people. It doesn't have any additional flavors added; it tastes good with the sweetness of the cabbage.
➜ Braised large intestine (large) $100
Tastes just like regular braised large intestine, nothing particularly fragrant. A bit disappointing.
➜ Traditional blood rice cake $40
Since I’ve had softer varieties, I think it’s just average. Depends on personal preference ~~
➜ Side dish - Tofu skin rolls with cilantro $40
Tofu skin rolls with cilantro are a must-have whenever I come to Yilan. Priced reasonably, one order contains two rolls. The tofu skin is a bit salty, and it's lacking something in flavor... a bit of a pity...
Halfway through the meal, I felt extremely hot, probably because too many people were coming in and out, and the air conditioning wasn't strong. I hurried to finish my meal and leave, and by the time I was about to go, I was already covered in sweat 😓
I would eat here if I didn’t have to queue, but if there's a line, I lose interest since the dish that impressed me the most was the dried plum braised pork rice, combined with the affordable price.
