"Let’s Enjoy Hot Pot Together!"
The neon lights are full of personality and authenticity, reflecting the cute store name “Enjoy Hot Pot.” I was actually first attracted by their bird logo, which made me stop multiple times outside the store to observe what people were eating inside (?
✨ Environment
The dining atmosphere inside is quite pleasant, lacking a heavy sense of formality. Their menu has a refreshing feel to it, featuring large red Chinese characters combined with many retro Taiwanese elements, making it visually appealing.
The seating area uses cool-toned concrete colors and metal chairs, creating a simple and clean dining environment. Personally, I feel it could benefit from a bit more warmth in the decor, but it does not affect the overall dining experience or food quality.
The drink bar section is relatively standard, but they do offer hot and cold drinks, which shows some sincerity. The ice cream is from the Mingo brand, and I really like their “Thai Milk Tea” flavored ice cream. It honestly tastes just like drinking Thai tea, with an authentic and rich flavor that’s delicious!
✨ Ordering Process
They have a wide variety of pork options, including Spanish pork belly, Danish tender shoulder pork, Taiwanese snowflake Matsusaka pork, and proportionate black pork neck among others. For beef, they offer Angus beef as well as the SRF extreme black beef and Australian M9 wagyu, which feel like they have impressive quality.
Also, each type of meat is clearly labeled with its origin in the name, so it's reassuring to know where your meat comes from when ordering. 👍
What I particularly like about this place is that they offer many dishes for one person, so even if you come alone, you can feel very comfortable. The staff will use partitions to shield you from the next table, avoiding any awkwardness of having to share a table.
✨ Service
The service is alright since I didn’t experience anything particularly standout, so I won’t elaborate on that further.
✨ The Meal I Ordered
This time, I ordered the classic kombu hot pot base with egg, and I also kept the vegetable platter (after all, balanced nutrition is important). For the meat, I chose the “Single Hot Pot Set” which includes pork neck and pork belly totaling 18 ounces.
In terms of portion size, I can only say it was super satisfying! A huge platter of meat is definitely enough for you to enjoy. The 18 ounces of meat is more than enough to fill you up. Moreover, the quality of the meat platter is very fresh; there was no unpleasant smell, nor any signs of excessive freezing. Overall, I was very satisfied.
The vegetable platter offers a wide variety of items. Although it's not a huge platter, it is definitely sufficient. One standout item was their black squid balls, which are completely black and have a slight seafood flavor that’s quite nice.

Overall, this is a Taiwanese hot pot restaurant that meat lovers definitely shouldn’t miss. We really enjoy the single-serving sets they offer, which are very diverse and cater to the modern preference for solo dining.
