📍Location: Taipei, Taiwan

Today is a day for sightseeing in Taipei. Tired of the usual places we frequent, my teammate had the spontaneous idea to check out which stores tourists love to visit.

So we came to this place called "Liang Shan Po Xiao Long Bao" located in Wanhua. The business hours are split between daytime and evening, with evening hours starting at 5:00 PM. We arrived at the restaurant entrance at 4:50 PM, and there were already three or four people in line ahead of us. As the time drew closer, more and more people joined the queue, and the restaurant let customers in to order exactly at 5:00 PM.

Since we just wanted to taste it, we decided to share an A set meal: it included 7 Xiao Long Bao and a serving of health-focused black soybean milk ($120). The skin of the Xiao Long Bao is relatively thin, and there is a lot of soup inside. The online recommendations that call it "explosive soup dumplings" are quite accurate, but the meat filling inside is a bit pale, and the seasoning is rather mild, lacking in layers of flavor. Although there's plenty of soup, the taste is quite ordinary. It's better when dipped in the soy sauce provided on the table. At 100 TWD for 7 dumplings, it's a decent value, but I wouldn't say it's exceptionally delicious—it feels more average.

The restaurant has open seating in a covered corridor. Most of the people in line were tourists, including visitors from Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong, and I was quite curious to ask them how they felt about the taste!

We finished eating around 5:15 PM, and there were even more people waiting outside. I think if you're passing by and the line isn't too long, it could be worth trying. However, if you have to wait a long time, it might not be worth it. Just sharing this for your reference.

The seating inside is open-style. There are quite a few seats, and everyone tends to eat fairly quickly, so if you're in line, you shouldn't have to wait too long.
A serving of xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) with 7 pieces costs $100. The only main dish sold in the shop is soup dumplings.
The dumpling skin is thin, and the meat filling is a light color.
The health-preserving black soy milk is priced at $25 and is slightly larger than the size of a palm.
The color of black soy milk.
The queue of people after dining at around 17:15.
