One of the shops that queues up during weekends at Luodong Night Market. I chose to go on a weekday afternoon around three or four to avoid the crowd. The environment is a typical night market open space, without air conditioning, and it can get quite crowded when there are a lot of people. Personally, I prefer to buy food to take home and eat.
I ordered the Angelica lamb soup, which had a generous portion of minced lamb and was accompanied by vegetables. The side dishes were also more than I expected. The herbal flavor of the Angelica soup was quite strong, and it tasted good—there was no unpleasant smell from the lamb. They also provided a dipping sauce to enjoy with the lamb, which is perfect for a warm bowl of soup on a cold winter day.
