#Tainan
We have a group of seven adults and three children.
I've heard about the reputation of Tan Toh Ma Li BBQ for a long time,
so I took the opportunity to try its delicious offerings during my trip to Tainan.
We were arranged in a semi-open private booth for our group of seven.
Seating was a bit tight, but the only disappointing aspect was having only one grill for seven people.
The speed of serving was quite fast, and soon our table was filled with dishes.
What stood out to me was the fruit and cheese thin crust pizza, which was very tasty.
The savory crackers paired with cheese weren’t overly rich and were refreshing with the addition of fruit.
As for the meats, I recommend the snowflake beef and sliced pork collar.
The snowflake beef was delicious, which is to be expected,
but the pork collar was surprisingly good, with a firm and tender texture and no strong meat smell.
The chicken dish that came as a side was also generously portioned.
For dessert, I highly recommend the almond cream brittle ice.
The almond topping was plentiful and not overly sweet,
combined with peanut brittle, it greatly enhanced the texture.
A little incident occurred when a child accidentally bumped into the table while playing,
and the staff from the neighboring booth immediately came over to check on us, which was very heartwarming.
They even provided a bag of ice for the child to apply to the bump.
Overall, the dining experience was quite good.
I thought the food was delicious and the portions were ample.
Although prices have increased, the quality remains excellent.
Additionally, the absence of a time limit for dining is fantastic,
especially when dining with a large group and children,
as it allows us to eat leisurely without feeling rushed or flustered.
If I come to Tainan again, I will definitely plan to revisit.
