This restaurant is to celebrate my birthday 🎂 so I made a reservation in advance
The location is in the vegetable market in the center of Ho Chi Minh City…
The decoration at the door and the on-site environment are very different!
The interior design is also very fashionable...
I later found out that this is a French restaurant opened by chef Peter Cuong, a Vietnamese-American chef who returned to his hometown!
It won one Michelin star last year🌟 and became famous because of it!
He is very good at adding Vietnamese characteristics to French food ~
I may not be able to remember them all
But let me share with you a few of my favorites…
❤️ SALMON BANH NHUNG Mekong River Me Kong
Their menu will change due to the season~ but I found that this classic dish should be too high-level, not subject to seasonal restrictions, and too beautiful and delicious😋, so it seems easy to see on the Internet~
It is mainly made of Vietnamese snack egg rice cakes, smoked salmon, salmon roe, fennel, French sour cream Salmon roe, smoked salmon, creme fraiche, local dill! The slightly tart sour cream completely elevates salmon to another level! Coupled with the freshness of the original seafood flavor of salmon roe, the whole thing is perfectly integrated!
❤️ LE PETIT BE BANH MI Sai Gon
If you don’t eat baguettes when you come to Vietnam🥖, everyone will feel dumbfounded! This classic dish was directly reduced by the chef and combined with mini baguette, caviar, sea urchin, Japanese Wagyu Uni pate, wagyu beef, Oscietra Caviar, and air baguette! The baguette itself is crispy, and it is paired with wagyu beef, caviar and sea urchin. The fat of the wagyu balances the crispness of the baguette ~ the sweetness of the sea urchin blends with the aroma of the wagyu beef juice! The finishing touch is caviar, which directly enhances the overall deliciousness!
The menu I chose was a Vietnamese tasting menu
So they'll have a range of dishes delivered automatically.
I think it’s not easy to get one Michelin star at this price.
If you have the chance, why not book a table in advance and try it out on site!
