The overall decor revolves around a Vietnamese military retro theme, with military green walls and uniforms designed in military style, and the details throughout are stunning. The space is spacious and bright, with some seating offering power outlets and Wi-Fi, making it ideal for relaxation, chatting, or working for extended periods.
On a hot afternoon in Taipei at 36 degrees, I stepped into the store and ordered the popular signature drink, the "Coconut Green Bean Smoothie," while my friend ordered the "Coconut Green Rice Smoothie." They were served in large cups, very icy and aromatic; one sip instantly cooled me down. The coconut milk base combined with condensed milk provided a smooth and non-greasy mouthfeel, while the textures of the green beans and green rice were just right—offering a rich, creamy drink with subtle layers of texture, making it a rare dessert-style iced beverage that doesn’t get tiresome.
When it was time to leave, I still hadn’t finished my drink. Converting it to takeout required an extra charge of five dollars, but even as takeout, it remained icy for a long time and did not melt or lose its flavor immediately.
