【Foodholic Naoko @ Taipei】
"Cộng Cà Phê" has finally opened in Taiwan~~~~ It has actually been open for a while, but I heard it usually has long lines, so I didn't want to go during the crowd. I waited for the craze to die down a bit before visiting to relive the great flavors I tasted in Vietnam!
"Cộng Cà Phê Taipei Main Store" is located near Taipei Main Station, about a 3-minute walk from the Z8 exit. The entire building is military green, with seating areas on both the first and second floors. There are actually quite a few seats, but when I went on a Saturday afternoon at 4 PM, it was still packed, and I almost got the last available seat.
Peanut Butter Milk Cap Coffee (Medium, Hot) $140
Just looking at its appearance, I can tell I've already hit my calorie goal for dinner today. The top has a thick layer of milk foam, and once I took a sip, it was amazing—it’s truly a milk cap with peanut butter!!! Plus, there are crushed peanut bits! The peanut flavor is super aromatic~~~ and it's quite sweet~~~ Although I know it’s definitely high in calories, I just couldn’t stop taking sips. A must-try for peanut lovers, highly recommended!
Vietnamese White Coffee (Medium, Hot) $130
This cup was ordered by my friend, and its appearance is really cute, with condensed milk squeezed into a star shape. I suggest mixing it well! At first, when I didn't stir it, it tasted a bit bitter, but as I continued drinking, I liked it more and more; it’s sweet, so just think of it as condensed milk coffee~~
Croissant w. Condensed Milk $65
This is one of the few food items in this café. The croissant is quite large, baked fresh, and served warm, very soft. It's super rich and delicious when paired with condensed milk!
Overall, I found the drinks quite tasty. Even though I know they’re high in calories, I just couldn’t help but keep drinking. However, there were still too many people in the store, and the atmosphere wasn’t as comfortable as Cộng Cà Phê in Vietnam. I might visit again when there are fewer people or on a weekday.
