I have been wanting to try snail noodles for a long time. Recently I saw that restaurants selling snail noodles are open so I decided to try it to see if it really smells bad. It turned out not to be that scary at all~

This restaurant, which is homophonic to "Roosevelt", is located on Chifeng Street, only a 4-minute walk from Exit 5 of Zhongshan Station.

Every time I pass by, I see a queue of people. I arrived around 6pm on a holiday and waited in line for about 20 minutes to get seated.

There are quite a few seats in the store, so it shouldn’t be a problem to seat 30 people. They are all low tables and chairs, and the dining atmosphere is created quite well.

Simply scan the QR code on the table to order, then go to the counter to report your table number and pay. You can only pay in cash here~

There are only three items sold for main meals: classic snail noodles (soup), dried snail noodles (dry), and Nanjing duck soup noodles (soup, not spicy). Additional toppings can be added for an additional price, such as pork intestines and pork belly. , fried eggs

There are also special side dishes you can order, such as salty crispy chicken, preserved egg spicy tofu, numbing quail eggs, etc.

The two of us ordered a bowl of classic snail noodles for $158, a bowl of dry snail noodles for $158, and both added a crispy fried egg for $38.

The noodle used in snail noodles is similar to the noodle we use for hot and sour noodles. It is very elastic, but it is not very easy to pinch.

In fact, the taste of dry snail noodles is quite similar to that of soup noodles, so if you don’t particularly want to drink soup, you can just order the dry noodles, which will be chewier.

Although the soup of the classic snail noodles is quite good, I personally feel that the temperature is not enough. It is a little lukewarm when it is served, and does not have the refreshing feeling that comes from being hot. In addition, because there is soup, the noodles inside are relatively It's softer, but the taste is a bit deducted.

The contents include sour bamboo shoots, sour beans, fungus, peanuts, fried yuba, quail eggs, Xiaogong balls, etc. Unfortunately, there is no meat and it tastes a bit empty.

It is recommended to add crispy fried eggs. I think it is the most delicious item in the whole bowl. The eggs are soaked in the soup and are delicious after absorbing the soup~

Overall, if you want to eat meat and eggs, you need to spend more than 200 oceans to get it; the taste is not bad, if you want to eat snail noodles in the future, you will think of this restaurant

But to be honest, it doesn’t have an amazing taste. In fact, it’s like hot and sour noodles that are less sour and spicy. It doesn’t scratch the itch, so if I had to choose, I still prefer hot and sour noodles.
