The sesame oil flavor in the sesame oil chicken porridge is too strong, overshadowing the other flavors, and the broth is not pronounced enough. The texture of the chicken also needs improvement. Although there are unlimited side condiments available, this dish is not recommended.
The store environment is clean and bright, and it is quite comfortable to sit in.
This restaurant is quite a famous congee chain. I happened to pass by for some business and thought I wouldn’t want to look for other options, so I decided to give it a try.
The environment in the shop is pretty clean and comfortable, and the lighting is bright, so overall, it's quite pleasant to sit in.
This time, I ordered the sesame oil chicken congee. Firstly, the sesame oil flavor is really too strong; the whole bowl is overwhelmingly saturated with sesame oil, and aside from the sesame oil taste, there is no other flavor, so the congee’s broth is quite unremarkable. As for the chicken, it was also unsatisfactory and not that tasty.
Overall, this place does offer a lot of small side dishes, such as unlimited youtiao (fried dough sticks), which adds some points. However, I do not recommend ordering the sesame oil chicken congee; it’s really not that good.
