A Canadian restaurant that I passed by several times but never visited.

It has two floors, but on the day I went, I only stayed on the first floor. I don’t know what the decor on the second floor looks like, but just looking at the design on the first floor is already very high-quality.
(The staff recommended the signature beef sandwich.)

This is a very substantial two-piece panini. The bread is thick but doesn’t feel empty when you bite into it. Although I can’t distinguish the five types of cheese, the rich and heavy cheese aroma and flavor definitely whet the appetite.

🫖 Monk’s Forbidden Tea Milk Tea $150 (supplement of $50 due to price difference, hence an additional $100)
It’s a very tasty milk tea! The milk tea based on Monk’s Forbidden Tea has a unique flavor, smooth and warm, rich and steady, with a hint of subtle sweetness.
(➡︎ Spiced Milk Tea: A friend ordered this and I want to recommend it. It has spices like cinnamon, cumin, and ginger, giving it an exotic aroma. Drinking it feels like the fragrance lingers on your lips and teeth. It's on the sweeter side without a spicy taste.)

🍟 Canadian Poutine Fries $180
Make sure to eat it while it’s hot! The steaming fries are topped with cheddar cheese and sauce. Biting into it is not only delicious and satisfying, but you also feel the guilty calories.

I happened to be staying near the Far Eastern Mart in Kaohsiung. I didn’t want to eat in the department store food court, so I looked for a nearby restaurant that looked good.

Business is pretty good. I thought the space inside the store was not big, but later I found out that there are quite a few seats on the second floor.
The dining environment is good, but the smell of oil smoke is a bit strong on the first floor. It would be better to sit on the second floor if possible.

The store's service is friendly and the impression is pretty good. If I happen to be nearby again, I will consider a return visit.
