The meal options are diverse, with a strong aroma of ramen. The broth is refreshing and tasty, and the combination of peeled chili and clams enhances the flavor, catering to Taiwanese tastes. The egg tart is crispy on the outside and fragrant without being greasy. The creative ramen is seared at the table, providing a unique dining experience. The salted pork is flavorful after being seared, but the ramen and broth are average.
The store has a spacious environment, with decor that combines modern and vintage styles. The lighting is ample, creating a relaxed atmosphere, suitable for customers who enjoy a nostalgic vibe.
The self-service ordering is used, the service attitude is average, but they assist customers in adjusting the photo angles and provide thoughtful photography support. The meals are served quickly.
Although there are quite a few delicious foods to choose from in Lugang Old Street, there don't seem to be many ramen shops nearby. After opening Google Maps, I found one and decided to give it a try.
This ramen shop is quite special; it’s not a mainstream style of ramen. After looking at the menu, I decided to try the Fremont grilled salty pork ramen. Honestly, I was a bit apprehensive before ordering, since I had no idea what Fremont was all about.
The shop wasn’t very crowded, and the food came out quickly. The owner directly grilled the salty pork in front of us, so everyone should not rush to eat, as there’s a 100% chance it could be hot.
As for the food, I personally think the salty pork was quite tasty, not too salty, and the grilling added a nice flavor.
The ramen and broth were just average; while they weren’t bad, I probably wouldn’t return based on this experience.

🗣️ Spicy Shrimp and Clam with Salt and Pepper 🌝🌝🌝🌝🌜
This is my favorite broth.
It’s salty, sweet, and spicy.
Rich yet refreshing and easy to sip!
It satisfies both land and sea at once. 💕
🗣️ Grilled Shrimp with Lemon Chicken White Soup 🌝🌝🌝🌝🌚
🗣️ Grilled Pork with Clams 🌝🌝🌝🌜🌚
The white soup with lemon chicken is lightly sweet and has a hint of grilled aroma.
The shrimp is generous—served in a full row, packed with fragrance!
You can choose the thickness of the ramen noodles; there's not much difference between the two, but I personally prefer the texture of the thin noodles!
🗣️ Original Egg Tart 💲55 🌝🌝🌝🌜🌚
🗣️ Spicy Cheese Egg Tart 💲65 🌝🌝🌝🌝🌜
The egg tart has a crispy crust that fills the air with its aroma once baked!
You must try the spicy version‼️
It smells like a savory pie,
And when you take a bite, it’s a sweet and salty mix, but not spicy!
Super special! Highly recommended‼️
🥤 The drinks are also quite delicious.
I especially recommend the Grapefruit Jade Tea!

Dishes
📍 A Value Popular Combo Meal 💰 340
Ramen 🍜 + Side Dish 🥗 + Drink 🥤 + Egg Tart
📍 Blistered Pepper Clams with Grilled Salted Pork Creative Ramen 💰 220
The ramen served hot comes with the table-side grilled salted pork 🐷, adding an extra layer of aroma. The meat is decent in flavor, providing a slightly charred taste to the salted pork. The soup base leans towards a refreshing taste, with the blistered pepper 🌶️ adding a hint of spiciness complemented by the rich flavor of the clams, making one accidentally finish the soup. The noodle selection is thin noodles 🍝, which are indeed very fine and resemble thicker rice noodles.
📍 Fremont Grilled Salted Pork Creative Ramen 💰 220
At first glance, I thought it was named after the dark wizard from Harry Potter 🤣. The main difference is in the soup base, which has an added note of citrus 🍊, making it smoother and more refreshing.
📍 Fried Dough Sticks from the Cow Class 💰 25
The fried dough sticks come with a sauce that tastes a lot like vinegar, giving it a sour flavor.
📍 Grandma's Pickles 💰 25
In simple terms, it's Taiwanese-style pickles, which seem more suited to be served with stinky tofu.
📍 Original Egg Tart 💰 55
Be careful with the hot egg tarts as they can burn your mouth. The outer crust is crispy and quite fragrant, while the pudding filling is sweet without being overly rich, which is nice.
