🌟 Grass Lake Taro Ice is a must-try!!

"Sun Brand Ice Products" has a 60-year history in Tainan and is most well-known for its Grass Lake Taro Ice, which is super cute in its square shape, with a whopping 7 flavors. It’s one of the ice shops that has grown up with many Tainan locals.

Sun Brand Ice Products is also relatively close to Tainan Station, about a 15-minute walk. There’s parking for scooters right at the door, but it's not easy to find parking for cars nearby. The establishment is a combination of a house and a shop, with both a covered gallery and seating inside, though the seating is not very spacious and limited.

This is one of the must-try signature items at Sun Brand Ice Products, and it’s something I always have to order whenever I visit. Its square shape is adorably cute, and its flavors are extremely rich and fragrant. It’s best to order at least 5 at a time; flavors include taro, peanut, red bean, milk, sour plum, pineapple, and passion fruit—up to seven kinds. The peanut and taro flavors are particularly rich; I highly recommend them! The others are also good, depending on personal taste.

Red Bean Milk Cream 💰65
This is another must-try item. Red beans flow like a waterfall over the milk cream, with a fine texture drizzled in condensed milk—this one’s a favorite among fans. It’s refreshing and perfect for cooling down. I used to love this, but now I find it a bit too sweet. 😂

Thoughts: I've been eating here since I was little, and their ice cubes are really amazing! I love it to bits!!
