The scallop sashimi provided by the restaurant is very fresh and sweet, the crispy toasted shrimp is aromatic, and the grilled sushi combination is a must-order. Overall, the dishes are fresh and delicious.
The restaurant environment is comfortable. Although it gets crowded on holidays, it is relatively easy to make a reservation because it is a chain store.
The service is good, the food is served quickly, and free tea is provided.
Location: Taichung City
Japanese Restaurant
It seems to be a chain with quite a few branches.
So even though I made a reservation quite late, there were still available seats.
Overall, the service was quite good, and the food was served relatively quickly.
They also provided free tea.
🌟 Scallop Sashimi
The scallops were very sweet and fresh.
There were lemon slices underneath to enhance the flavor.
There was hardly any fishy smell, very fresh overall.
🌟 Fried Shrimp Toast
This is my top recommendation.
I really liked it because I have made a similar dish before,
so I know it can be really time-consuming to make.
The shrimp was seasoned,
so it was very fragrant and delicious. 😋
🌟 Seared Sushi Platter
Seared sushi has always been my favorite.
Searing the fish adds a nice smoky flavor.
I highly recommend it! You must order this if you visit!
I have been to this Morikawa Donburi many times. I just bought two pieces of salmon sashimi and two pieces of salmon belly sashimi yesterday. It cost more than 1,500 to take away. In terms of the portion, it is not really a lot, but that may be because chain relationship.
However, I think the price is acceptable because I think their salmon and salmon belly taste really good.
Usually, for the main course, I still recommend ordering a rice bowl, and the sashimi can be used as an additional snack, because yesterday I ate it like this when I took it out, and I was a little scared to eat it.
Today, I came here and ordered Tang Yang Chicken Rice Donburi and Grilled Salmon Belly Rice. I have eaten their grilled salmon belly before, and the salmon oil is really delicious when paired with rice. The Tang Yang Chicken is also deep-fried. The ones were great and juicy.
The environment is quite large, but because there will be a lot of people on holidays, you may need to make a reservation. But on weekdays, you can just walk in and eat without having to wait too long.
Their menu design style is also great, it is very clear and has photos, so you can clearly know which meal to eat.
